After the success of their initial drop, BERSHKA unveils BERSHKA X SSSTUFFF, the new collection co-created with SSSTUFFF. Infused with the witty irony characteristic of the Barcelona-based brand, the collection bridges fashion, community, and the mundanity of summer seaside vacations.
This collaboration merges SSSTUFFF's uniquely recognizable creativity with BERSHKA's distinctive style, once again redefining the boundaries of fashion
and humor. The collection draws inspiration from beach holidays, striking a fine balance between the ordinary and the extraordinary. It incorporates elements that evoke nostalgia from the past and anticipation for the upcoming summer days that lie ahead.
This second drop of BERSHKA x SSSTUFFF consists of 34 interactive pieces inspired by all things summer, with a special emphasis on kitschy beach elements and souvenirs. The pieces feature characteristic souvenir shop slogans, towel-like textures, ice cream, and undersea motifs, among others.
“The collection was envisioned to encapsulate SSSTUFFF's fervent fascination with kitschy, iconic elements, with souvenir shops serving as the epitome of this theme for the summer. They stand as quintessential attractions, quietly attracting visitors with their eclectic offerings. We adore this magnetic pull and all the iconic items they offer” shares Ho.
Moreover, adhering to their commitment to interactivity, “we aimed to incorporate select pieces that invite consumers to engage with them. Take, for instance, the knitted “towel” – more than just an accessory, it's an invitation to transform, allowing consumers to craft their own unique tee or pair of socks and vest,” says Jepi.
